Our second collaboration with the SA family unfolds in Istanbul’s prestigious Ortaköy district, where we transformed an attic space into a masterpiece of contemporary living. The apartment’s crown jewel is its dramatic two-story living room, where double-height windows frame breathtaking views of the Bosphorus, creating a constant dialogue between interior space and Istanbul’s timeless seascape.

The design celebrates vertical space through its interconnected levels, with a second-floor gallery overlooking both the living area and the strait’s panoramic views. In the bedroom, a strategically placed bathtub transforms daily rituals into contemplative moments with spectacular vistas.

Honoring Istanbul’s rich architectural heritage, we incorporated historical tiles crafted by an Armenian master artisan. These handmade elements ground the contemporary design in local tradition, creating a sophisticated balance between modern luxury and cultural authenticity. The result is a space that feels both innovative and deeply rooted in its context.
